My name is Sue and I am proud to be the new PEDS Triage Nurse. I am delighted to be part of the PEDS nurse led family. It is a service which combines my two professional passions. Being a nurse and Eating Disorders. I have many years of experience supporting people with eating disorders and have worked with all ages in both community and inpatient settings.
Since 1980 I have worked clinically and managerially in both the private sector and extensively in the NHS becoming an advanced nurse practitioner in 2004. I particularly enjoy supporting and training staff and I am a big advocate of nurse development. Over the years I have lectured on various topics to nurses, doctors and MDT’s but have a special interest in the MHA and its application in eating disorders.

I live in Northampton with my husband and I am supervised on a daily basis by my Bengal/tabby cat. If I do get any time I can usually be found with either a book or a pair of knitting needles in my hand. I look forward to developing this role with Mandy, Sue and their incredible team.
