Job summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Clinical Lead to join the PEDS team. The post holder will provide effective leadership, overseeing clinical activity within the team and holding day-to-day clinical management responsibility for the service working alongside, our Nurses, Nutritionist and Peer Support Workers.

PEDS has evolved over the years from a small charity run by two eating disorder volunteer Nurses into a regional organisation that serves both primary and secondary organisations, including third sector and statutory services. PEDS has partnership contracts with the local NHS Clinical Commissioning Group, the University of Cambridge, Anglia Ruskin University and the local Council.

Services currently offered include assessment and 1:1 support, peer support group, carers support group and a range of education/training programmes. We have a team of 8 employed staff plus dedicated volunteers, many of whom have lived experience of recovery from an eating disorder. We have a wealth of knowledge and experience within our Trustee Board who bring lived experience, business experience, clinical via our GP and Nurse Trustee and Education via our two Trustees who come from teaching backgrounds.

We deliver services across the whole of Cambridgeshire and as part of our 3-year Strategy, continue to evolve, innovate and expand our services.

This role will be hybrid remote from home or in person at Boroughbury Medical Center.
